Wayne's Mowing & Landscape Service

About Wayne's Mowing & Landscape Service

The hills of southern Oneida County roll into Waterville in long green folds, and the village keeps its old hop-country calm: white porches, a wide main street, farm fields that run right up to the last row of houses. Wayne's Mowing & Landscape Service works those lawns the way the land asks — mowing on the contour, trimming close to stone walls and porch steps, cutting an edge along the walk that stays sharp long after the mower has gone quiet. Summer arrives here slow and generous, with thunder stacking over the ridge by late afternoon; a lawn cut that morning smells like the whole valley. Landscape work rounds it out — beds tidied, borders shaped, growth kept in bounds so a yard reads finished from the road. Nothing dramatic about it, just a place looking cared for when the light goes gold over the fields.
