Chaumont Bay in August is all sun and small boats, and the lawns of the places along it need cutting every week the water stays warm. Lakeside Outdoor Services handles that summer round — mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups — then stays on when the bay turns gray and the drives need a plow. Winter out toward Three Mile Bay is mostly wind, so plowing there is about width and getting the banks well back off the shoulder. Walks are shoveled and treated, entries kept usable, no matter which direction the weather is coming from. It is a shoreline year, and both ends of it deserve the same attention.
