JW North East Enterprise

About JW North East Enterprise

By five in the morning the road east out of Watertown toward Black River and Fort Drum already carries a river of headlights, which means the driveways feeding it have to be open earlier still. JW North East Enterprise runs those first rounds — plowing drives and lots, cutting the berm the town truck leaves across the end of every apron, clearing walks down to the pavement. Ice gets treated where the shade and the wind conspire against a person in boots. The measure of a night's work is simple: nobody is late and nobody is stuck. In this stretch of the north country that is a genuine contribution.
