About Riffs Landscaping

East of Millbrook the land lifts into hayfield and hedgerow, and on a July evening the whole town of Washington turns amber for about twenty minutes before the light lets go. Riffs Landscaping works out along those ridge roads, mowing lawns that sit open to the sky and others tucked under stands of old maple where the grass comes thin and slow. The routine is steady — cut, trim, edge, blow the clippings back off the drive — and the difference shows from the road before you reach the mailbox. Autumn brings the leaf work, weeks of it, until the turf is clear and the stone walls stand out again. Then the fields go brown and the season lets everyone rest.
