For a couple of weeks in May the Warwick valley is entirely given over to apple blossom, and the old rail bed running through it smells like the inside of a flower. Wright Brothers Landscaping opens its mowing season in that stretch, when lawns come on strong and everything needs cutting at once. The work runs straight through the green months — mowing, trimming, edging, keeping properties looking intentional — and then turns over to plows when the valley goes white and the drives need opening at dawn. There is a rhythm to serving the same places all the way around the calendar. You stop thinking of it as two businesses and start thinking of it as one long year.
