About G and R lawn service and snow plowing

Warsaw sits down in its valley with the hills rising on both sides, and in January the turbines along the ridgeline disappear into the squall lines rolling off Lake Erie. G and R Lawn Service and Snow Plowing runs the ground beneath all that — plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, and salting the slick spots this valley makes when it thaws by day and freezes by night. Wyoming County snow does not arrive politely or only once; it comes in bands, all afternoon and then again at two in the morning. The truck goes back out because that is what the county asks of anyone who says they will clear a drive. Dawn on Main Street after a long night, pavement dark and the banks squared off, is a quiet kind of good work.
