About Grasshopper Gardens Inc

In Warrensburg the Schroon River comes down to meet the Hudson, and the growing season squeezed between those two banks is short enough to make every green week count. Grasshopper Gardens Inc works inside that window — mowing, edging and trimming, mulch and bed care, hedge work, and the cleanups that open and close an Adirondack summer. Up here frost lingers into May in the shade and comes back before the leaf-peepers have left, so timing decides most of it. A lawn cut level against the rise of Hackensack Mountain is a satisfying thing to stand back from. By the time the maples turn along Route 9, the properties are raked, cut back and ready for the months of deep cold.
