J&K Landscapes

About J&K Landscapes

The land between Sheafe Road and the river drops away fast, and the driveways there run long and steep to houses tucked in the trees above Bowdoin Park. A grade like that has to be plowed uphill and taken down to bare surface, or the next cold night makes it impossible. J&K Landscapes handles those drives in winter and the lawns above them the rest of the year — mowing, trimming, edging, keeping the shape of a hillside yard legible. Slope work is slow work, and there is a real satisfaction in a hill drive that is open at seven in the morning. J&K serves Wappinger and the neighboring river communities.
