Kings Hill Contracting

About Kings Hill Contracting

North of Walden the land climbs into orchard hills, and on a still winter night up there the only sound for a mile is a plow blade. Kings Hill Contracting works those hours, clearing driveways and lots, opening the long rural approaches that drift shut fastest, shoveling the walks and steps by hand. Salt goes down on the grades, which is where the trouble always starts when the hills glaze over. Storms come across from the Shawangunks and settle heaviest on the high ground, so the route runs uphill first and back down as it lightens. Nothing feels better than finishing a clean pass while the village below is still asleep.
