Clean cutz

About Clean cutz

Fog sits in the Catharine Creek valley until the sun clears the ridge, and then Veteran shows itself all at once, creek bottom to hilltop. Clean cutz is out early on those days, mowing through Millport and the roads that climb away from it. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup — with attention paid to the parts people notice without knowing why: the straight line along the walk, the clean shoulder where lawn meets drive. A yard cut that way looks bigger than it is. The mower goes quiet, the smell of cut grass hangs around a while, and the day gets on with itself.
