Redbeard Mowing

About Redbeard Mowing

Fog sits in the hollows east of Vernon most summer mornings, burning off the hillside pastures by nine and leaving the grass heavy with dew. Redbeard Mowing starts once it lifts, cutting hill lawns and long rural frontages where the ground rolls and the mower has to be read like the land. Mowing, edging and trimming, week after week, until a property that fought the slope starts to look like it agreed to it. Fall brings leaf cleanups off those same hillsides; spring brings the clearing of everything the wind pinned against the treeline. The reward is simple — standing at the bottom of a hill and seeing one continuous, even sweep of green.
