Van Etten & Sons Tree and Crane Service

About Van Etten & Sons Tree and Crane Service

From the hilltops above Van Etten you can read the whole shape of the place — hayfields laid in long strips, hedgerows, and roofs tucked into the folds where the roads meet. Van Etten & Sons Tree and Crane Service works the yards down in those folds, mowing on a regular turn, string-trimming the borders, and raking a property back to order each spring and fall. Late August here smells like cut grass and warm gravel, and the day runs until the light goes amber over the western ridge. Chemung County ground is stony and uneven, so an even cut takes attention rather than speed. The reward shows up all at once when the last pass closes and the lawn runs clean right to the field line.
