About Howard's Outdoor Management LLC

Valley Falls earned its name: the Hoosic drops over the ledge in the middle of the village and keeps talking all winter under a shelf of ice. Howard's Outdoor Management LLC runs the storms here, plowing driveways and lots and clearing walks along the mill streets and out the back roads toward the Tomhannock. Rensselaer County catches the systems that swing up the Hudson and the ones that spill off the Taconic hills, and either way the number that counts is how early a drive is open. Sand and salt go where the shade lingers and the grade wants to slide a car sideways. Nothing beats the look of a farm lane run clean to the barn door with the eastern sky just going gray.
