About Pond View Property Services

Kinderhook Creek drops through the middle of Valatie in a white rush past the old mill walls — loud in spring, half-frozen and quietly beautiful by January. Pond View Property Services works both ends of that year: plowing and shoveling the village drives and walks when a storm comes up the valley, then mowing and trimming those same properties once the Columbia County orchards flower. There is a particular pride in an early morning when the pavement is open, the walk is salted, and the day starts on time for everyone on the street. In summer it becomes an even cut across a flat lawn and a crisp line along the sidewalk. Two kinds of work, one standard.
