Sawyer's Lawn Service

About Sawyer's Lawn Service

Some mornings the Susquehanna sends its fog up over the flats, and the lawns of Union come out of it wet and shining. Sawyer's Lawn Service works those hours — mowing while the ground still holds a little of the night, then trimming and edging as the valley opens and the light turns ordinary and warm. A yard here can go from shaggy to squared in an afternoon: stripes laid straight, the edge along the walk cut clean enough to run a finger down. Grass grows fast in a river town, and keeping pace with it is a rhythm more than a chore. This is lawn care for Union and the towns around it, done one clean line at a time.
