Alteri's Tree Service & Snow Plowing

About Alteri's Tree Service & Snow Plowing

North of the valley floor the land climbs toward Union Center, and in February the wind up there has nothing to slow it down before it reaches a driveway. Alteri's Tree Service & Snow Plowing runs those roads in the dark, pushing back the night's accumulation and salting the walk so the first step out the door is a sure one. Come May the same hill routes turn green and the work becomes mowing, trimming and cleanups, week after week, into the long light of July. Two very different kinds of quiet — engine noise on frozen gravel, and the hush after a mower shuts off. Both end with a place that looks looked-after.
