D&J Lawncare

About D&J Lawncare

Fog sits in the low ground along Wappinger Creek most mornings in June, and Union Vale comes out of it field by field as the sun gets over the ridge. D&J Lawncare starts in that hour, while the grass is still heavy and the air has not yet warmed. Weekly mowing, edges cut against the drive and the walk, string work around the old stone walls that run through half the yards in this town. By the time the fog burns off, a property looks settled — even, tidy, the lines of the cut running true to the road. In autumn those same yards get their leaves taken down to bare green before the cold arrives.
