About Finger lakes Habitat, Home and Site Services LLC

Above Taughannock, the creek has spent ten thousand years cutting shale into a stairway, and everything green in Ulysses grows on what it left behind. Lawns here run thin over that rock through the dry weeks of July and come roaring back with the first good rain — reading them is half the work. Finger lakes Habitat, Home and Site Services LLC mows to the grade, trims the edges along stone and post, and keeps beds and fence lines from swallowing a yard by August. A cut lawn on the Cayuga side catches the late light coming up off the water, and the stripes hold until evening. Come autumn there are leaves enough for three towns, and those get gathered too.
