Frosty Snow Management

About Frosty Snow Management

Troy climbs hard from the Hudson, its streets tilting up from the riverfront toward the hill where RPI looks out across the valley. When a nor'easter barrels up the river, those grades turn slick by midnight, and the brownstones downtown wear white caps like old men in winter hats. Frosty Snow Management works the Collar City after the storm, plowing drives and clearing walks so the morning commute can begin without a slide. The payoff is a steep driveway pushed back to bare pavement and a stoop shoveled square, ready for the mail carrier's boots. In Uncle Sam's hometown, a cleared walk is a modest act of civic spirit.
