About Harlach Enterprise

At three in the morning Sheridan Drive is orange streetlight and blowing powder, and the only things moving are the plows. Harlach Enterprise runs that shift through Tonawanda winters, working driveway to driveway and lot to lot while the town sleeps through it. There's a rhythm to it — drop the blade, take the long pass, back-drag at the garage, salt the walk, roll on. Nobody watches the work happen; they see a clear apron of blacktop at six and a car that starts and goes. That's the whole point of the job, and it's enough.
