About Big Rock Landscaping and Snowplowing, Inc

Winter arrives in Tonawanda from the west, off the water, and the first thing it touches is the river. Big Rock Landscaping and Snowplowing, Inc works those hours — the ones before the South Grand Island Bridge lights have anyone under them, when a driveway is just a white rectangle waiting to be given back its shape. Plowing here means knowing which streets funnel the wind off the Niagara and which ones sit still and drift. The reward is small and complete: a clean run of pavement from garage door to curb, the banks pushed back where they won't blind anyone backing out. By the time the sun comes up gray over Grand Island, the day is already possible.
