HIGH EXPECTATIONS

About HIGH EXPECTATIONS

East of town the land tips down to Lake Champlain, where the ferry crosses to Vermont and the far shore stands green or white depending on the month. HIGH EXPECTATIONS takes its standard straight from the name: driveways plowed down clean, walks cleared to the concrete, lawns mowed and trimmed and edged until the yard has a real outline. Wind off that water moves snow around all winter, so a driveway is opened, then opened again, without complaint. In the warm half of the year the same properties get their cleanups and their steady cutting. Nothing exotic — just a place that looks looked-after every single time you pull in.
