Half the driveways around Theresa are not driveways at all but two-track lanes running back through the pines toward Butterfield Lake or Millsite, and every one of them needs opening after a storm. Drew's Excavating knows those distances — the wide turnaround at the far end, the culvert you do not want to catch, the exact spot where drifting always begins. Plowing out here is measured in tenths of a mile and patience, with grit laid on the shaded stretches that never quite let go.
