MM Bronx Tree Service

About MM Bronx Tree Service

Every stump in the Bronx is somebody's future garden. MM Bronx Tree Service grinds them out down to where the soil starts again — the maple that split over a driveway in Norwood, the stump squatting in six feet of Bedford Park backyard, the roots crowding a stoop. Late March is the sweet spot: the ground is workable, nothing has been planted yet, and a spot cleared now is tomatoes by July. Removals and trimming go the same careful way, the tree lowered in sections in a yard where a swing set, a fig tree still wrapped for winter and a grill all want their room. Then the grindings get leveled off, and the ground looks like it has been waiting for something good.
