Triple C's Plowing and Landscaping

About Triple C's Plowing and Landscaping

Clinton Square freezes over every winter on the ground where the Erie Canal once ran, and the skaters make a party of it. The rest of the city still has to get to work. Triple C's Plowing and Landscaping runs those January nights — lots opened, driveways cut down to the pavement, walkways cleared and treated before the first shift arrives. Syracuse snow rarely falls politely; it comes in bands that drop a foot on one street and dust the next, so a route often has to be run twice as often as the forecast suggested. Handing someone a clear drive at five in the morning, streetlights still on and the salt already down, is the entire point of the night.
