About Verrazano Snow Removal Corp

The Narrows carry the storm in first — bridge lights going soft, the water turning gray, the wind pushing up through Rosebank and Fort Wadsworth ahead of anything falling. Verrazano Snow Removal Corp answers with plows and salt: residential driveways, sidewalks and commercial lots opened and then kept open while the weather does what it does. Working under that span at night has a quiet all its own, the deck humming somewhere overhead, the flakes streaking sideways, a shoveled path appearing one length at a time. The payoff comes at the end of a shift, looking back down a block of dark, clear driveways with nobody stuck. Winter on the East Shore is short on mercy and long on wind, and the work gets counted in mornings that start on time.
