About Accurate Carting

The Kill Van Kull never freezes. The tugs keep working through the worst of it, their lights sliding past Mariners Harbor while snow comes down over the shore road. Accurate Carting treats a storm the way it treats freight — plow it, stack it, and when there is nowhere left to stack, haul it away. Lot clearing, driveway and walkway plowing, salting, and snow hauling for places that cannot afford to lose a parking row. Come morning the piles are gone and the blacktop lies wet and open, which is a plain sort of beauty if you have been up since midnight.
