About Rathjen's Landscaping & Supply

On a June morning around Bangall the fog sits in the hollows and Stissing Mountain shows blue over the fields to the north. Rathjen's Landscaping & Supply is out in it early — mowing, edging along the drives, trimming hedges back into shape, laying mulch, putting seed on the thin ground where shade and foot traffic have worn it down. The dew burns off by nine, and after that the cut goes clean and the lines hold. There is honest pride in a property that reads as finished: beds dark, turf even, borders drawn.
