By the middle of June the hills north of Springville are cut hay, and the village lawns are growing fast enough to need a mower on a firm weekly turn. Lutz Lawns keeps that turn: cutting at a height that holds color into July, trimming fence lines, foundations and tree rings, edging where turf climbs the walk, and clearing yards at the start and close of the year. Concord's summers are green and generous — rain comes often enough that a skipped week announces itself immediately — and the payoff is a lawn that stays even from the road all the way to the back line. Autumn is the long chapter here: maple leaves for weeks on end, one pass and then another, until the ground is bare and firm. Then it all goes under, and the next year picks up from the same short, tidy cut.
