Green Line Landscaping works to that clock in winter — plowing, clearing walks and steps, and putting salt down ahead of the morning freeze — and to a slower one in summer, mowing on a set week, trimming, edging, and clearing beds in spring and fall. The village's yards are modest and close-set, which makes the details do the talking: a straight cut line, tight trim around the posts, nothing left on the sidewalk. The growing season is generous here and the storms are moody, and both reward showing up on schedule. It is ordinary work done so that somebody else's day can start on time.
