These were potato fields once, and the North Fork still thinks in seasons — put something in, tend it, take it out before the cold. Yard Crop applies the same logic to Southold lawns with mowing, edging, string trimming and spring and fall cleanups. Autumn is the clearest test: leaves down, final cuts made, borders squared away before the light goes short. A yard closed out properly in November is halfway to a good April.
