Hampton Turf and Tree Care

About Hampton Turf and Tree Care

May on the South Fork: salt wind off the water, black locust in bloom, and turf finally waking all the way up after a long grey spring. Hampton Turf and Tree Care works both stories on a Southampton property — the lawn underfoot and the canopy above it. Mowing, edging, feeding and overseeding thicken the grass, while pruning and deadwood clearing keep the trees from putting that grass in permanent shade. Out here, shade and root competition decide more about turf than almost anything else, so the two jobs are really one job. By June a yard tended this way has depth to it: green below, structure above.
