SED HANDYMAN/SNOWPLOWING

About SED HANDYMAN/SNOWPLOWING

The Neversink runs black between snowbanks below South Fallsburg, and the old resort streets take winter the way this county always has — head down, all at once, a foot at a time. SED HANDYMAN/SNOWPLOWING is out in it, plowing driveways, breaking the ridge the county truck packs across the end of them, shoveling walks and steps, and salting the ice that Sullivan County shade keeps around into March. Storms come up the valley overnight, so the work goes out overnight too. There's nothing like daybreak with a row of drives already open while it's still coming down. South Fallsburg and the towns nearby, every storm of the season.
