About Higher Level Landscaping

The Harbor Hill moraine runs through Smithtown like a spine, and on a raw March afternoon the wind along that high ground finds every gap in a jacket. Higher Level Landscaping opens its year up there — cleanups first, clearing the winter wreck out of beds and off lawns, then the first cut once the ground firms. Through the season it is mowing, trimming and edging on a steady weekly loop, the kind of routine that keeps a lawn from ever looking neglected. Fall brings the leaves down all at once and the crews stay ahead of them. From the ridge to the flats, Smithtown and its neighbors are all on the route.
