About Galgano & Son Landscaping

Up in Head of the Harbor the land tips down toward Stony Brook Harbor, and in October the water goes pewter under a sky that changes its mind three times a day. Galgano & Son Landscaping keeps lawns on that slope through the fall run — the last cuts, the leaf hauls, the beds cut back before the first hard freeze. Summers are weekly work: mow, trim, edge, clear the clippings, leave nothing behind. Sloped ground asks for a steadier hand on a mower than flat ground does, and there is quiet pride in a hillside lawn that reads as smooth from the street. The trucks run through Smithtown, St. James and the harbor villages.
