About Larry Romance & Son, Inc

Sheridan sits on the lake plain where the vineyard rows run to the horizon and the air off Erie keeps the frost off a few weeks longer than it has any right to. Larry Romance & Son, Inc mows and maintains the lawns tucked in among those rows — farmhouse yards along Route 20, open properties where the wind crosses without a windbreak and dries the grass by mid-morning. Lake-plain ground grows turf thick and fast in June, so the mowing is about staying ahead rather than catching up. Trimming close to the posts and drives, edging the walks, then clearing leaves through that grape-scented stretch of October: the same short list, done in order. A cut lawn set against a vineyard is a good-looking thing, and worth the pass.
