About MH Landscaping/Snow

In Shelby the horizon is mostly sky, and the geese that lift off the Iroquois marshes cross it twice a year like a schedule nobody had to print. MH Landscaping/Snow keeps lawns here between those two crossings — mowing the long open yards out toward Oak Orchard Creek, trimming close where the fencelines meet the grass, hauling off the leaves that pile against the barns in October. The ground is dark and generous in this corner of Orleans County, and a lawn that gets attention shows it fast. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass of an afternoon: the stripes lying straight toward the road, the edge cut sharp along a Medina sandstone walk, nothing left to rake. Yards from the canal bank to the Shelby crossroads get the same walk-around before the trailer gate goes up.
