About Customized Turf Services

Morning on the Schoharie flats arrives with fog over the corn and dew heavy enough to soak a boot to the ankle. Customized Turf Services waits for that to lift, then works through the day mowing, trimming and shaping lawns from the village blocks out to the houses on the hill roads. Turf here grows hard in June and slows through August, and the height of the cut is set to match it. Mulch goes into the beds in spring, and the season closes with the leaves off the grass and the yard squared away ahead of the cold. The service area follows Route 30 and the ridge roads through Schoharie, Cobleskill, Sloansville and Howes Cave.
