About All American Asphalt Services LLC

Erie Boulevard runs over a filled-in canal bed, and on a February night the whole corridor holds cold like a trough. All American Asphalt Services LLC works those hours in Schenectady — the first pass down the long side of a lot, the second tightening the corners, salt laid where meltwater will run and set up hard by four. There is real satisfaction in a parking lot that looks like nobody had to fight for it: curb to curb, stalls readable again, the entrance wide enough for a delivery truck to swing. Driveways get the same treatment, the apron cut square and the walk opened to its edges. By the time the first cars come down State Street the work is already behind them and invisible, which is exactly the point.
