Dylan’s Landscape

About Dylan’s Landscape

On an August evening out the Glasco Turnpike the light goes long and gold across cut fields, and every mowed lawn between there and the river seems to hum with it. Dylan's Landscape works that season and the one that follows it — lawn mowing and trimming through the growing months, snow plowing and clearing when the back roads go white and quiet. Winter turns the same route into something else entirely: headlights, blade down, the patient loops of a driveway coming back to itself. Two kinds of work, one place, learned road by road. Saugerties and nearby towns.
