About Alonzo lawn maintenance

West of Broadway the town flattens back into field at Pitney Meadows, and on summer evenings the light crosses it low and gold. Alonzo lawn maintenance often works that hour — mowing, string-trimming the fence lines, sweeping the walks clean before the truck pulls away. The routine is simple and plain: cut on schedule, hold the edges, clear the leaves when the maples let go. In spring the yards come out from under the snow ragged, and one cleanup makes them look like themselves again. It is ordinary work, done for the ordinary pleasure of a yard that looks finished.
