In summer Sanborn is a green grid — flat farm sections stitched together with hedgerows and hard maple woodlots, and Cayuga Creek slipping along low between them. Parkhill Tree & Land Management LLC keeps the lawns inside that landscape: mowing, trimming out corners and fence lines, edging drives and walks, and cleanups when spring opens up and again when the leaves come down. Growth is heavy through June and thins by August, so the schedule bends to what the grass is actually doing rather than the other way around. A big country lawn cut clean right up to the hedgerow is worth slowing down for on the road past. Sanborn and its neighboring Niagara County towns are on the list.
