About The Wood Shop Tree Service & Landscaping co.

A Long Island snow morning has a silence all its own — no traffic hum, no engines idling at the corner, just a blade scraping somewhere two streets over. The Wood Shop Tree Service & Landscaping co. is out in that quiet, plowing Salisbury driveways, opening the walk from door to street, laying salt on the ice that hides under fresh powder. Storms here often start wet and finish hard, so timing is everything: get in while it is still falling, get back before it sets up. The measure of a night is simple enough — a car backs down the drive at seven and never once spins a wheel. Driveways in Salisbury, Garden City and Hicksville are opened all winter.
