First light in Rush and the dew comes up over your boots — the hour when grass stands straight and cuts truest. Tim's Lawn And Landscape is out in it, mowing the yards on the rises toward Mendon, running the edge where turf spills onto the driveway, and leaving nothing behind on the walk. Cutting starts in April on a lawn flattened by months of snow and ends with a November pass short enough to carry through to spring. In between come the cleanups: the raking, the hauling, the beds cleared out twice a year. The service area runs through Rush along with Honeoye Falls, Avon, Wheatland and Henrietta.
