About Spartan Landscaping & Snowplowing, LLC

Two rivers meet in Roscoe — the Willowemoc coming down to the Beaver Kill — and the whole valley takes its weather from that fold in the Catskills. Spartan Landscaping & Snowplowing, LLC works both halves of the year in it: mowing, trimming and cleanups through the green months, plowing and clearing once the mountains turn the road white. Winter shows up early along the Quickway and lingers, so driveways and lots get opened at hours when the only other light in the valley is somebody's porch bulb. Come May the same ground wakes fast and steep, and the grass gets cut, the borders get shaped, and winter's grit gets raked off the lawns. Honest work in a town where the calendar doesn't negotiate with the mountains.
