South Seneca Vinyl

About South Seneca Vinyl

A squall off Seneca can cross the Romulus flats in minutes, and afterward the drifts lie in long bars over every driveway facing west. South Seneca Vinyl clears them out — plowing through to the road, shoveling the steps and the walk to the door, and laying salt on the glazed patch by the mailbox. Out past the long fence of the old depot, where the white deer keep to themselves, the wind has nothing at all to slow it, and the same lane can want a second pass before noon. Snow work covers Romulus and the neighboring towns of Ovid, Varick, Fayette and Waterloo. There is real pleasure in seeing a place open again, tire tracks where an hour ago there was only white.
