About Bauman Landscape | Rochester, NY

In Highland Park the lilacs are only a rumor in February; the bowl lies bare, the slopes go white, and the city settles into the particular hush of a lake-effect town. Bauman Landscape | Rochester, NY spends that stretch pushing snow — driveways and parking areas cleared, walkways shoveled, ice knocked back with salt before it can set. Storms here arrive in bands rather than one polite fall, so the work is return trips through the night instead of a single pass. The rewards are small and exact: a stoop you can stand on, an apron scraped clean where the road plow left its ridge. By the time the neighborhood stirs, the only evidence is pavement that looks like nothing happened.
