About Driftwood Landscape Inc.

Down at Iron Pier the beach is cobble and driftwood and the bluff comes right to the edge, and the wind that shapes all of it is the same wind these lawns and driveways live with. Driftwood Landscape Inc. works Riverhead through both halves of the calendar — cutting, trimming, edging and clearing beds while the grass is growing, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the water starts steaming on cold mornings. Mulch in spring, mowing on a route through summer, leaves moved out in autumn. Then the trucks change over and the work becomes drives opened before anybody is awake and walks made safe before anyone steps out. The place gets looked after either way, which is the point.
