About Ruben's Complete Landscaping

Ridge is pine barrens country — pitch pine and scrub oak, sandy ground that drains fast and makes a lawn earn its green. Ruben's Complete Landscaping mows and maintains yards along the lanes off Middle Country Road, where the sun comes through thin and high and the grass gets a long Long Island season to enjoy it. The routine is steady: weekly cuts, edges run true along the driveway apron, hedges and beds cut back, cleanups when the oaks finally drop. Kept right, a yard out here looks like a clearing in the woods — bright, level, tucked neatly against the treeline. That contrast, open green against the pines, is the point of the whole thing.
