About Higher Ground Property Management LLC

Ride east out of Red Hook and the land lifts; up on the Milan ridge the September wind finds you and the whole valley opens westward toward the mountains. Higher Ground Property Management LLC looks after lawns across that rolling country — mowing, trimming, edging and keeping the grounds of a property in order from the first thaw to the last leaf. Hill lawns dry unevenly and grow in patches, so the cut has to be read rather than repeated. The reward is a slope lying smooth and even the whole way down to the treeline, with a trim border where mowed ground stops and the wild starts. It is a fine place to spend a working day, and it shows when the day is done.
